“During the 21 years we were privileged to share with her, we watched her develop into a determined, creative, and gregarious young woman.” ~Emily Bryant
Lisa Nicole Bryant (1972-1993)
Lisa Bryant excelled at everything in her short life. By the age of three, her parents noticed that she was reading. At the age of 10, she raised thousands of dollars for the Monterey County, California Chapter of the March of Dimes. While in high school, she was the first African-American in Virginia to be elected Governor of Girls State. Lisa went on to Princeton University where she became Vice President of her Freshmen class, convinced the University’s President to revive the cheerleading program, and was commissioned a second lieutenant before graduating Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Sociology.
