About the event
From the Beat of the Drum is an African American cultural awareness program presented by the Fort Liberty area Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. This year's theme, Black Renaissance: African Americans in the Arts, will celebrate contributions made by African Americans in music, dance, film, and the visual arts. Participants will enjoy an interactive program that will feature live performances and exhibits, which is FREE and open to the public.
